About the Flying Sheep project

I have always wanted to team up with talented artists and do something that people will adore, praise or at least speak about. After a year of struggle with ideas, I thought: Why should I go big? I can do whatever I want, I don't have any restraints at all.

So my idea began shaping up, after being changed so much. From a dark, realistic music video, it shaped into a techno-style music video, but as you can see, it finished up being just a funky little short about sheeps.

Why did I let my initial ideas go? I did not! I just don't feel the urge to do those ones now, since they would be much much more time consuming, and I still have other things to do. And giving life to any good ideas is worthy, as far as we can learn from them, and I sure learned a lot with this project.

After 8 days of modeling and rendering, I have finished a small piece of art, which can be seen as a clumsy tryout, or a fun little thing, that shouldn't be taken seriously at all. I have learned more about animating, handling the camera, particle effects, linking etc. And also, I have learned that I have someone who I can rely on: the music for this video was done even before the images were rendered, and it fits perfectly, thanks to a talented friend of mine: dreD.
